Welcome to 2021 and second semester!  SPC will continue to host our General Meetings and events online, likely for the remainder of the school year.  While we miss seeing everyone in-person, we appreciate the flexibility of zoom and the new members it has brought to our meetings.  Feel free to reach out to us with any feedback on the format and content of the meetings.

We have two events this month, our General Meeting and a special event for our SPC Reps, offering them a chance to get acquainted.

Our January General Meeting features Theresa Wnenta, Owner of SAFE Choice, the only Arizona provider of Play It Safe Defense, a curriculum to empower children and adults.  It teaches the art of self-protection through building resilience, heightening awareness, setting healthy boundaries, increasing confidence, and deescalating conflict.

As always, our General Meeting will include a Q&A with Superintendent Menzel and offer an opportunity for SPC Representatives to share highlights from their school communities. RSVP for the meeting HERE and submit questions for Dr. Menzel HERE.

Join us for our first SPC Rep Mixer on January 28th.

We will have activities and games to get to know our fellow reps from schools throughout the district.

RSVP to www.tinyurl.com/SpcRepMixer and be on the lookout for details from Rachel and Rose.
